Cholera Outbreak at EduAfrique location Hey guys.... You won't believe how timely our project has turned out to be. I spoke to the principle of the school where our project will be based to organise some time within the next month for our workshops. When he saw the topics in our project he was so excited because there is a cholera outbreak in the region at the moment! So our first official workshop will be on the 26th covering cholera prevention and treatment. Thank you all for making this project possible with your prayers and financial support. Special thanks to the Preston Church, Sandy Wallis and Wendy Cook for their recent contributions :)
Cholera Prevention and treatment workshop at a School Hi all....! Our first major workshop was presented at Asamang SDA School to an audience of around 400 students! It was sooooo overwhelming to have all the students (6-15 years) rush into the hall and wait patiently while we set up the projector for our videos. Our team consisted of 2 assistants and myself and they did a FANTASTIC job. The kids laughed and cheered through the videos and demonstrated that they understood the content of the program when we asked questions at the end. I have a video of the event but unfortunately cannot show you just yet as my camera and computer were stolen that very evening from my home - not happy Jan…! We've reported it to the police and we've been assured that we'll get it back so we're praying it turns up soon.  Check back with us soon.....
Yay!!! It's finally happening..... EduAfrique is heading to do its first series of projects in the nation of Ghana. We have videos on road safety, canning, composting, drying black eye beans (to prevent rot) and heaps more! I'll be uploading videos and pictures so watch this space. Thank you for your support and talk to you very soon!
